Kefalas in Chania area is an incredibly beautiful village located northwest of Vamos village. Kefalas has a special importance in the history of Crete as it was one of the very first villages to be inhabited in Crete back in 1182 by the people name “Kefaladon”. The view from Kefalas village are amazing and one may even reach its sight to Rethimno.

The sea is 5 km away and it is definitely worth having more than one swim in the deep northeast water of the village.

Chania and Rethimno cities area 30 km away each whereas international airport of Chania is 35 km away.
