How to reach Corfu?

1. By plane: Connected with Athens by many daily flights of less than an hour. Moreover, Corfu island is directly connected with many European cities by daily charter and regular flights. Some of the most important companies that operate on Corfù are British Airways, Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Swissair, KLT, LOT, Malev and other. Also internal flights operate from Corfu to Cefalonia, Zante, Lefkada and Thessaloniki. Corfu’s airport ‘Ioannis Kapodistrias’ is 2Km far from Kerkyra town.

2.  By boat: There are many companies both Greek and Italian navigating between Corfù and Italy. Also Corfu is connected with the mainland of Greece (Igoumenitsa port) all year round (one hour). From Corfu all nearby small islands are also reachable. From Igoumenitsa port, Athens and Thessaloniki are reachable by car (6 and 7 hours respectively).

3.  By private yacht the marina of Gouvia very close to Corfu town, as well the harbor of Corfu town and the Old Port may be a good home for your yacht. You can also moor off at Benitses Marina , which is situated not far from Corfu town.
