On the thumb of the Peloponnesean peninsula and with its administrative boundaries on the west drawn by the mountains of Parthenio, Ktenias, Artemisio, Lyrkio and Trachi and on the north by those of Oligyrto, Farmakas, Megalovouni and Psili Rachi, the county of Argolis gives the impression of a completely separate, protected mysterious and self- sufficient world.

This formulated protection of the mountains combined with the riches of the underground currents and cisterns of its fertile plains, together with its mild, friendly climate, have made this sacred place an ideal one for the development of civilization from the pre-historic era and onwards.

This truly blessed valley spreads all the way out to the sea and interacts with many other multifarious bays and gulfs, but never escapes the embracing protection offered by its mountains. The peninsula of Argolis forms the best example of the harmonic co-existence between sea and mountains. Mounts Arachnaio, Didymo, and Aderes impose their dominance in between the valleys of Kranidi and Ermioni from one side and the Valley of Lygourio which stretches out to the magnificent bay of Epidauros from the other.

Visitors have the chance to admire the multiform beauty of the Argolic landscape embellished by green fields, forests, olive groves, villages rooted high up in the mountains, wide grazing plains and lonely, bare mountain tops. One can also enjoy the variety of amazing beaches, like the ones of Karathona, Tolo, Porto, Iria and Salandi and many others.

Some are well known but some still remain untouched and unexplored, as they expand into a long coastline sewn with numerous small bays and capes. Amongst the uniquely valuable archaeological sites, the contemporary comforts of its tourist - developed cities, the picturesque beauty of the unexplored mountains and the sweet tranquility of the fertile meadows, between bare mountain tops and lace-like shores, humble villages and notorious cities, a glorious past and a most promising future, Argolis is a region one should definitely consider when planning to invest in Greece.

The climate in Argolida is the most healthy climate in Greece. Warm and dry during summertime and mild during the winter months, the only places lower temperatures are marked during summertime are the mountainous territories.

Various places of archeological and cultural interest may be reached within a couple of hours driving (Epidavros, Olympia, Mycenes, Argos, Nafplio...)

Porto Heli being a popular and fashionable touristic resort where all modern amenities can be found and where some of the most beautiful and impressive properties of the country have been built the past 10 years. The bay is calm without strong winds and that makes it the unique place for sailing boats and other vessels as it’s a natural mooring. The communication with Athen’s main port is constant and sailing to islands around (Aegina, Hydra, Elafonissos) can be enjoyed under perfect conditions.

Korakia may be reached by car from Athens (180 km) or by boat from Athens’ main port to Porto Heli (2,5 hours by boat and then 15 minutes driving).
